Frost‘s formation is similar to dew but they also need a temperature below freezing (0 °C)

  1. Dew
    • Lowering temperature to dew point near the surface
    • prefer clear skies and no wind, and usually formed during the early morning
    • Diabatic process 
  2. Frost
  3. Frozen dew
    • formation dew and then cool down to a temperature below 0°C
    • Diabatic process
  4. Fog
